Although this clock / night light was purchased to be available for guest use, we hope that the second-hand 'ticking' does not keep them awake.

This is perfect to plug into the bathroom wall so at night it's bright enough so I don't have to turn on the light and I can see what time it is. Like most of the reviewers said or implied, the battery does not last long for the clock. Interestingly, I did not have any problems opening the battery compartment at first. But I did remove the battery and closed the lid, and now I can't open the battery compartment...

The clock/light looks good and works well as a a nitelight, however, it would be nice if it was more versatile. My outlets go in the opposite direction of the plug on these lights. They should be 'twistable'.

You shouldnt have to read through every single comment and item specification to figure out what you're getting. This is a small (apx 3 inches wide) clock face with electrical prongs sticking out of the back so it can plug in. THE CLOCK IS RUN ON A BATTERY. THE GREEN NIGHT LIGHT FEATURE IS WHAT REQUIRES IT TO BE PLUGGED IN. Also, the night light was too bright for me to have plugged in in my bedroom-- it woke me up. Yet, when I tried it in the bathroom it wasnt bright enough to see by.
I was not excited to find these item details out after-the-fact. I was looking for something else but wound up with this useless clock instead. It was a completely useless purchase for me.

Had another clock like this one and found it to be extremely useful especially at night in the bathroom. Wife liked it so much she wanted others to put in other bathrooms. Great to have the time available in the dark!
